What are the benefits to buying preowned?
The most obvious benefit is the savings that can range from hundreds to thousands of dollars, depending upon make, model and generation of watch.
Unlike the planned obsolescence inherent in products, such as automobiles, television sets, and trash compactors, a well maintained, classic, Swiss watch is designed to last a lifetime or more. Styles rarely change. So, if you can’t tell the difference…why pay the difference?
Where does Collectors Timepiece Exchange acquire their watches?
We search large and wide to provide the best possible timepieces. That could include other dealers, manufacturers, as well as private owners.
How long does it take for my watch to ship?
Upon receipt of payment, we ship the item immediately and it will come insured, no more than 2 days through UPS.
What is your refund policy?
You must call us immediately upon receipt of the watch/jewelry advising us of your intentions to return. You have 7 days to return the item(s) for a refund. The watch must be returned via 2nd day insured UPS delivery and received within 5 days of your delivery date- in same condition as received. Do not use Federal Express. They do not insure jewelry. Remember, the merchandise is your responsibility until its safe return to us.
What is the most cost effective way to make a purchase?
Cash and wire transfers offer the greatest discount as it saves on processing fees.
